As part of the overhaul team at Viktor Lenac Shipyard, IND-EKO was contracted to clean, degrease, and degas 10,000 m³ of surfaces on board the flagship of the United States Sixth Fleet USS Mount Whitney, and to remove 400 m2 of asbestos from the ship.
IND-EKO also performed a specific and demanding task of mechanical and chemical cleaning of the CHT system aboard the ship. This complex system includes 1,600 m of pipelines, 8 sewage collection tanks and 160 sanitary facilities.
THE ENTIRE WORK WAS COMPLETE WITHIN DEADLINES AND IN LINE WITH SAFETY REGULATIONS.
CHT SYSTEM CLEANING WAS COMPLETED BEFORE DEADLINE.
THE ENTIRE WORK WAS DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH STRICT NATO PROCEDURES.
