As part of the overhaul team at Viktor Lenac Shipyard, IND-EKO was contracted to clean, degrease, and degas 10,000 m³ of surfaces on board the flagship of the United States Sixth Fleet USS Mount Whitney, and to remove 400 m2 of asbestos from the ship.

IND-EKO also performed a specific and demanding task of mechanical and chemical cleaning of the CHT system aboard the ship. This complex system includes 1,600 m of pipelines, 8 sewage collection tanks and 160 sanitary facilities.
