CIPP (cured-in-place-pipe) liner is a glass-fiber reinforced pipe liner suitable for the rehabilitation of pressure and gravity pipes.
CIPP pressure liner can withstand both internal and external pressure. It ensures the safe and reliable rehabilitation of damaged potable water pressure pipes and gravity pipes without open-trench digging and the disruptions associated with traditional methods
APPLICATION
- potable water pipes
- crude water pipeline
- technological pipeline
- natural gas pipeline
BENEFITS
- installation of a new pipe within existing pipe
- short project preparation time
- completely removes pipe infiltration and leakage
- restores structural integrity of the existing pipe
- flow increase due to smooth surface
- suitable for rehabilitation of asbestos-cement pipes
- rapid installation
- minimal disruption to the environment and working process
- no damage to the other underground infrastructure (water lines, optical cables, electricity cables, etc.)
- expected lifetime > 50 years
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
- material: : epoxy resin with LLDPE coating water pipes or HytrelTM coating for gas pipes
- diameter: DN150 – DN1200
- pipe pressure: <32 bar*
- wall thickness: 3,5 – 20 mm*
- ability to negotiate bends <900
- reach from a single manhole: <500 m*
- suitable for all types and materials of existing pipelines
- high chemical resistance
- approvals for drinking water usage: NSF 61, AS/N ZS 4020, BS6920
*depending on pipe diameter
CIPP INSTALLATION STEP-BY-STEP
- After completed pipe high pressure cleaning and CCTV video inspection, installation equipment is installed on the existing manhole
- Resin impregnated CIPP pipe is transported to the site and prepared for installation
- CIPP pipe is inserted into the existing pipe through existing manhole
- Inversion is done using water column or compressed air in order to shape the CIPP pipe into the existing pipe
- After completion of the inversion, CIPP is cured using hot water or steam
CIPP GRAVITY PIPE REHABILITATION
Trenchless pipe rehabilitation using CIPP (cured-in-place-pipe) technology represents a new technological advancement in Croatian wastewater market. It is especially suitable for urban areas, old town centers, congested roads and industrial plants, and is applicable to all forms and types of existing pipes.
IND-EKO d.o.o. rehabilitates old pipes using its own equipment, experienced personnel and liners impregnated in our modern plant.
APPLICATION
- sanitary sewers
- precipitation sewers
- technological sewer
- sewer collectors
- other gravity pipelines
